Things I have done...

I realized that I don't have to write about things that just happened, I can also tell you about things I did a few months ago.
So that is what I'm going to do now.

At my birthday, which was 1 February, I turned 16 and my parents gave me a photo-shoot,
I liked this really much and the photo's are really beautiful, at least that's what I think about it. ;)
I had a really short school-day,  so we could start with the photo-shoot early.
First of all a make-up artist put a lot more make-up on my face as what I usually add, I had to bring my own clothes and the photographer told me that we could do three photo-shoot sessions.
The first one naturally, then one with my hair curled and other clothes, and for the third one I wore my gala dress and they made my make-up darker.
I liked this photo-shoot really much, I won't forget it easily because it made such an impression.
Photo from the third session.

There is this dutch band, called Handsome Poets, and they have really good music, the lead singer smiles so much, it's amazing. And I have been to a concert of them! The 9th of May in the Paradiso at Amsterdam. That isn't a big hall, so we felt very connected with the band.

I have also been to this dutch festival Pinkpop! It was three days in June and it was AMAZING.
So much good artist, good weather, we were with a group of nice people I didn't know really well before we went, but we had a good time together.
I'll mention some of the artists who performed at Pinkpop; Ben Howard, Passenger, Tom Odell, The Script, The Killers, Ellie Goulding, Thirty seconds to Mars, Fun., Will and the People, Handsome Poets... Not jealous yet?
Well the band who were the last act will make you jealous: GREEN DAY !
We even got a photo with Handsome Poets and their signatures :D
Sun, people and music. The full three days in one photo.
The main stage by night (Green Day performing)

We're the Pinkpop girls!

I have also been to an amusement park with my friend, we went to Walibi.
There are a lot roller coasters and attractions in which you make a looping, so this amusement park isn't boring for teenagers. We had lovely weather and we went into 23 attractions!
We had both never been there before, but we liked it very much!

This were the coolest things I recently did.
Hope you enjoyed reading!

See you soon!

Sun, sea, sand

I just got back from my holiday in France.
I went with a friend for 10 days to Argelès-sur-Mer, we went with a group dutch people and camped on a camping just 200 meters from the Mediterranean Sea.
But first we had to get there, and we went by bus.
Yes, that took us 18 hours...
But we got to know all the new people, and they were all really nice.
the first day we made two friends, we did everything together for the rest of the week, just us, the group of four girls.
We walked to the city Argelès one day, after, I think, 1,5 hour walking (it shouldn't have taken so long, but we walked the wrong way ;) ) we arrived in a really cute typical French village.
Small lanes, cute restaurants and sweet colored houses with those adorable platforms with flowers.
We had to take breaks to relax and to spray sun protection because we of course didn't want to get sunburned.
Walking to the Supermarché also took us half an hour, this time we did not walk the wrong way.
So as compromise we needed to lay on the beach, and aahh that was so goood.
Sunbathing, swimming, talking, sleeping, (yes, on the beach) and you can see it, because we all tanned!
The travel organisation organised some parties, these were good too!
We went night-swimming one time,
People said that the sea felt less cold as by daylight, but when I ran into the sea I swear it felt WAY colder as by daylight... So it was a short jump into the sea for me, but really cool to do.
I had a wonderful week, here are some pictures:

This are the cute houses,  with platforms and colors.

I ran into this beauty while we were looking through the touristic shops. She is gorgeous, isn't she?
See you soon!

Hello...?

Well, this is me saying hello in my first blog-post.
This blog and figuring out how it works is all really exciting to me, because I'm totally new here.
I wanted to make a blog for a while, but I didn't allow myself because:
  • School was busy (so I didn't have much free time).
  • I would be distracted all the time because I want to find out how this works.
And yeah, that wouldn't be good for my school grades.
But they say:
"The longer you wait for something, the more you will appreciate it when you get it. Because anything worth having is always worth the wait."
So, here I am.

My name is Linde, I am now sixteen years living on this earth, in The Netherlands.
I play field-hockey and I'm a dancer.
my valentine rose
The name of this blog is me in two words,
I adore strawberries (and I like the word "strawberries", it sounds cute, right?) and their taste, Mmmm delicious!
And I adore studs, they look so stunning on clothes, they make your outfit look tough, you can combine them with everything, they look always good and they show that you are strong!
Studs and strawberries are kinda opposites from each other, but that is just what I like!
My style is also diverse, it has cute, classy outfits, but I like oversized, comfy as well, edgy and street-style do I like too. And you definitely can call classy and edgy opposites.

I think this was a fine "hello".

See you soon!
